Recognized as one of the most comprehensive U.S. manned space flight hardware museums in the world, the museum, which is the Official Visitor Information Center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, showcases Huntsville’s leadership role in reaching the lunar surface. The vast museum features approximately 1,500 space artifacts from the U.S. human spaceflight program, including the original Saturn V rocket and the Pathfinder orbiter displayed as the world’s only fully stacked Space Transportation System (STS). The U.S. Space and Rocket Center® is also home to Space Camp® and Aviation Challenge®.
