NATJA welcomes all active media who produce content on travel and/or the travel experience to join us at the 17th Annual NATJA Conference in Syracuse, NY!
NATJA prides itself in providing informative and relevant professional development workshops for media at our annual conference. From the popular Editors Panel, to tips and tricks for photography and video, to learning about the latest in social media marketing, we provide our attendees with tools that will help them make their journalism stand out.
Hotel & Meals
Conference registration includes 3-nights accommodations at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center (nights of May 15th, 16th, and 17th). Thinking of arriving early? The hotel is offering NATJA attendees a special rate of $75 USD for Tuesday arrivals. You can add the extra night during registration.
Meals are also included as part of conference activities beginning with lunch on Wednesday, May 15th.
Afternoon Tours & Pre and Post-Conference Trips
All NATJA attendees are invited to participate in the planned afternoon tours in and around Syracuse, scheduled during the conference. Attendees will have several choices and opportunities to learn all that Syracuse has to offer.
Pre and Post-Conference Trips
In addition to the afternoon tours, active media will be invited to participate in either a pre-conference or post-conference press trip. Details on tours will be provided as they are confirmed.
The Exhibitor Marketplace provides you the opportunity to meet one-on-one with destination marketing organizations from across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. You will be able to chat with representatives and discuss media opportunities. Appointments are not scheduled, allowing you the freedom to walk the booths and meet with representatives.
Media registration applies only to journalists/bloggers, photographers, editors, and videographers who are actively publishing content related to travel. Please note that conference details are subject to change.
Monthly Installment Plan Option
NATJA offers a monthly installment plan for the conference, allowing you to break up your conference registration into equal monthly payments from the month you sign up through April! Installment plan participants must have their registration paid in full no later than April 2019 to guarantee hotel room accommodations and conference participation. This is a great option if you and your spouse will be attending as media or if you are a local and do not need a hotel room at the Sheraton. Non-Media Guest Registration
Conference Registration for Non-Media Guest/Companion: $399 USD
Applicable to a spouse, partner, or guest that is not active media. Registration includes shared room with registrant, afternoon tours, and evening events. Does not include admittance to professional development workshops or the marketplace. Click here to register your guest.
Individuals may cancel on or before April 1, 2019 to receive a full refund. No registration fees will be returned after April 1, 2019.
