Huntsville’s original and oldest museum, Burritt on the Mountain is a unique museum of regional history located atop Monte Sano Mountain, overlooking Huntsville.  Originally the estate of Dr. William Henry Burritt, the 167 acre site contains the Burritt Mansion, a collection of 19th century historic rural structures, nature trails and farm animals. Be sure to step inside the Eddins cabin, the oldest structure in Madison County.
